Triad River Runners, based in the Triad Region (Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point) of North Carolina, consists of people, just like yourself , who have a love and respect for nature. We like to camp, hike and PADDLE! Our members enjoy all types of water, from lake, to ocean, to raging river... Our Objectives are to provide members an opportunity for organized fellowship in a variety of activities; to educate our members in effective means of improving wilderness access and conservation; to promote a medium, whereby members may safely develop their skills in canoes, kayaks, and related craft; to promote safe and responsible public use of wilderness land and waterways; to foster attitudes consistent with conservation and environmental need; and to promote appreciation and maintenance of natural areas. In addition to having fun, TRR offers Beginner Canoe and Kayak Classes and Safely Clinics taught by experienced instructors who are dedicated to river awareness and education. We sponsor Winter pool Roll Sessions to keep skills sharp when the weather is less than optimal. We meet periodically and offer many river trips. For current news and upcoming events, Click Here.
