TBD - Skills Sessions

We offer many trips for our members all year round at various skill levels.

BEGINNER Those with no prior whitewater experience.  Lake or pool experience does not count (although helpful).  Class I and low Class II.
NOVICE Paddlers with a background in the basics of eddy turns, peel outs, and ferries.  Usually up to class II whitewater, with some boat control and confidence.
INTERMEDIATE Those who can perform eddy turns, peel-outs, ferries and self-rescue on Class I-II whitewater with confidence.  Intermediates feel comfortable on class III and occasional low Class IV whitewater.  Decked boats should be able to roll.
ADVANCED Class IV rapids and above.  Paddlers should have excellent boat control and experience with rescue procedures.  Threats of serious injury is increased and paddlers should be comfortable in Class IV-V whitewater.  Roll is mandatory.
